Murukkulu, also known as Chakli, is a popular South Indian snack made from a mixture of rice flour and urad dal (black gram) flour. It has a spiral or coiled shape and a crispy texture.
Ingredients: Rice flour, urad dal flour, butter or ghee, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, asafoetida, and salt.
Shelf Life: Murukkulu can stay fresh for about 2 to 3 weeks when stored in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
